Site Ideas

Workshops and open labs.  Most will be held after school.  I will meet with some teachers on weekends for Website work.

How can you best determine if your TIMs support is changing the knowledge, skills, and practice of teachers’ at the site?

  • Use of technology is up at our school.  More teachers are seeking classroom labs and instruction on programs.

How will you best maintain communication with your principal and staff members regarding TIM activities?
  • Email, staff meetings, one on one

What site-based incentives can you and your principal offer teachers to encourage participation and completion of workshops?
  • Many teachers are already motivated and want to learn more.  They appreciate having me available and the help I give them.

Anticipated Challenges

  • Finding the time to meet that is convenient for everyone involved.
  • Tech support, old computers and equipment needing replacement.

Support for You
What human resources and technology resources does your site and district already have in place that can support your successful site-based TIM implementation?
  • District Tech and a Tech aide.
  • My principal is very supportive of new ideas and ways to meet student and staff needs.
  • Computers for Schools

Returning TIMs Only:
How will your TIM efforts change this year?
One focus I have this year is to get all teachers a Website.  I don't think I'll be having to help with so many basic computer needs this year, but we'll see!
